Massive fire in Souk Mubarakia | Madhyamam

Kuwait City: A huge fire broke out in Mubarakiya Souk, an ancient market in Kuwait. 25 shops were on fire. 14 people were injured. Nine people were released following receiving first aid with minor injuries. Four were taken to Amiri Hospital and one to Al Bab Tain Center. The incident took place around 3:30 pm on Thursday. The fire brigade worked hard for hours to control the situation. Fire brigades from eight centers carried out rescue operations. The Government Communications Center and the Fire Brigade have asked locals and foreigners not to congregate on the Mubarak market side and on the roads there to facilitate the work of the fire brigade and emergency teams. There was such a big fire. The shops were on fire. The loss is estimated at crores.
