Massive Firefighters Deployment: Rescue Operation in Libramont-Chevigny Apartment Building

Large deployment of firefighters this Tuesday in Libramont-Chevigny since a fire broke out in an apartment building. There were around twenty of them fighting a fire whose origin is unknown in this building located rue de la sawmill.

The building was evacuated, but three people were trapped on the upper floors and calling for help from the windows, on two different facades and two streets. The complex intervention required reinforcements, with the simultaneous management of the fire, rescues and those involved. Ultimately, the fire was limited to a single room, but the entire building was engulfed in smoke.

Three intoxicated people taken to hospital.
