Toronto Maple Leafs goaltender Matt Murray was injured in Saturday morning practice, so his name has been placed on the injured list.

The veteran goaltender, who lost his first game in the blue uniform during a visit to the Bell Center to face the Montreal Canadiens on Wednesday, is expected to miss about four weeks of action due to an adductor muscle injury.
To replace him, the Leafs recalled Erik Kallgren from the Marlies. The 26-year-old Swede played 14 games for the Leafs in 2021-22, posting an 8-4-1 record, 3.31 goals-against average and .888 save percentage. He had to leave his only game with the Marlies this season after 28 minutes, also injured.
The Leafs are scheduled to face the Ottawa Senators at Scotiabank Arena on Saturday night. Murray was to start the game, but it will ultimately be Ilya Samsonov who will be in front of the Toronto cage.
The Flyers on a roll
Late in the afternoon, the Flyers erased a two-goal deficit to defeat the Vancouver Canucks 3-2 in Philadelphia.
Tony DeAngelo, Scott Laughton and Travis Konecny were the main architects of this comeback, hitting the target in turn against Thatcher Demko.
Carter Hart was faltering in the first period, yielding to Kyle Burroughs and Conor Garland on two of the Canucks’ first three shots. However, he raised the bar to make 27 total saves in the game.
The Flyers capped a second comeback in as many games with a victory this season. On the other end of the spectrum, the Canucks squandered two leads in two losses.
