Nikolai Bortnik, 33, better known by his stage name Max Barskikh, has once again paid the price for using the Russian language. This happened on the eve of the artist’s concerts in Kazakhstan. Nikolai Nikolayevich preferred to address his fans in Russian, which caused indignation among many of Bortnik’s compatriots. A huge number of negative comments were left on the artist’s account on the Instagram* platform banned in the Russian Federation.
“This is how real friends meet! Kazakhstan, thank you for the warm welcome, sincere conversation and support for Ukraine! Watch the interview live soon. In the coming days, we will see you at concerts to dissolve in music and become one, ”wrote Bortnik.
“Why is the entry in Russian? Shame,” one commenter responded. Bortnik did not go into his pocket for a word, answering: “Ukrainian is not understood in Kazakhstan. Can you think of that before?” Interestingly, all subsequent entries, however, were also duplicated in Ukrainian.
TV presenter Alena Zhigalova believes that the singer making loud statements began to run out of money – that is why he switched to Russian, and later sharply answered his compatriots.
“At the same time, Max was afraid to repost Russian songs on his page, and on the Web he pretended that he sang only in English and Ukrainian,” the journalist draws attention in her Telegram channel “Neoprah, damn it.”
We add that a few weeks ago there was information that Nikolai Nikolayevich was not averse to performing in Russia, despite all the offensive statements. It quickly became clear, however, that no one was waiting for the Barskys in our country.
