Saudi imams are instructed to preach regarding education during the Jumuah prayer on Friday. The call of the Minister of Islamic Affairs comes at a time when schools are regarding to open in Saudi Arabia following the summer vacation. The Minister said that we should aim for a generation that will be beneficial to the individual, family, country and society by studying Vidya.
The Saudi Minister of Islamic Affairs, Dr. Abdullatif Al-Shaikh, gave the instructions to the mosque imams in the country. Believers should be educated regarding education in next Friday’s Jumu’ah prayer. The minister also requested that the imams should explain the verses of the Qur’an and the verses of the prophet to the believers which encourage and encourage them to acquire knowledge.
The minister’s call comes at a time when schools are regarding to open in Saudi Arabia following the summer vacation.
