The popular singer referred to her daughter, Olga Kiourtsakis after the revelation about the break in their relationship.
“Olga grew up, she became a doll, she became a mother and she must become a proper mother like I was for Olga. I love them all but I want to be alone a little. It’s fine, but I want to look at me, take a little interest in me,” said Angela Dimitriou.
“For several years I was very busy and gave everything to my whole family. I want to look at Angela before it’s too late. What did I do; I gave this and that and I what? To die; May she be well with her husband, her child and if anything is needed and I can contribute very gladly.

Angela Dimitriou also spoke about her son who grew up with his aunt, while she learned years later who his biological mother is.
“My son made up his mind, he went to Germany for work, my grandchildren grew up and everything is fine! My mother gave Vangelis to my aunt, I was little and this child grew up calling me “his cousin”. At some point my aunt passed away and I thought it good to call him and tell him the truth”, said Angela Dimitriou.
“I sat down and told him the story like a fairy tale and I said, ‘I am your mother.’ He got a shock, and so did Olga! I went through a lot but I did them good. The mother is Angeliki, Angela Dimitriou is at work. You are not allowed to blame your mother. I never raised a hand, nor hit her, nor spoke to her, I was by her side until her soul left the bed.
