The Cauris party for an Emerging Benin (FCBE) withdrew its confidence in the Mayor of Copargo Ignace OUOROU and his two deputies, Zacari WIODE (PAM) and Imorou AMBANI (DAM). The decision signed by the National Executive Secretary, Paul Hounkpè does not mention the reason for the withdrawal of confidence in these elected FCBE members within the Copargo Municipal Council.

This decision dated April 18, 2023 will result in the dismissal of the mayor and his two deputies.

The FCBE party lost the majority in the Municipal Council of Copargo following a collective resignation of its elected officials.

The municipal councilors elected on the FCBE list during the 2020 municipal elections had resigned from the FCBE party to join Union Progressiste, which became Union Progressive le Renouveau.
