Mayors ask Petro for help to fight local crime

She too, she assured that transitional detention centers are needed for those who commit minor crimes which are also accompanied by efficient justice.

On the other hand, the mayoress confirmed that they reiterated to the president to humanize the prisons, but the cities also need more strength than by monitoring the streets, capturing criminals and applying the law.

Finally, there will be a monitoring table led by the Ministry of Justice to establish common objectives and manage to combat scourges such as theft and homicide.
