The mayor of the French capital, Anne Hidalgo, met with the mayor of Rabat, Asmaa Rhlalou, in Paris as part of the annual meeting of the International Association of Francophone Mayors (AIMF), which is being held on April 28 .
During this meeting, Anne Hidalgo expressed her pride in her colleague, who succeeded in occupying the post of mayor in the administrative capital of the kingdom. Hidalgo also testified to his admiration for the evolution that the kingdom is experiencing, under the wise leadership of King Mohammed VI, particularly with regard to the various projects initiated across the country.
For her part, Asmaa Rhlalou expressed her pride in being the first woman to hold the post of mayor in Rabat, a mission far from being easy. The “Rabat, City of Light” program is the most prominent example of what makes the city a destination of choice for delegations seeking to duplicate the Moroccan management model. This concerns green spaces, irrigation with treated water, as well as various construction sites around culture.
The mayor of Rabat also congratulated Anne Hidalgo for her role at the head of the Parisian capital for two consecutive terms, which testifies to the confidence of the inhabitants in her abilities to manage their affairs well.
Asmaa Rhlalou also welcomed the commitment of the AIMF, chaired by Hidalgo, particularly with regard to the opportunities for collaboration and cooperation between the various cities affiliated to the Association.
