Eldest son of Belgian businessman George Forrest, Malta Forrest is part of the closed circle of TPM strongmen. Since taking office, in place of his brother, he has participated in several club successes including the Champions League won in 2015 and two Confederation Cups in 2017 and 2018. In 2020 during the structuring of the club in omnisports, Mr. Forrest had been elected new president of the football section of Mazembe, after seven years as vice-president.

“We don’t want to play politics. Malta will necessarily withdraw (if that happens). It is not because Moïse Katumbi is a friend. Friendship is one thing and politics is another. Let’s not mix up objectives and subjects”.
