[MBC 연기대상] Lee Jong-suk, Daesang honor with ‘Big Mouth’ (comprehensive)

Actor Lee Jong-suk, who dominated both viewership ratings and topicality by showing a wide range of performances with ‘Big Mouth’ this year, lifted the grand prize trophy at the ‘2022 MBC Drama Awards’. It is the second throne after winning the Daesang at MBC in 2016 with ‘W’.

Lee Jong-suk said, “I first received the acting award six years ago when I was in my 20s, but I don’t think I knew the meaning of this award at that time. I was in my 30s and greeted you with a comeback work, but I feel the sense of responsibility and weight different from back then because you gave me such a big award,” he recalled when he first received the Daesang.

The Drama of the Year Award, voted by viewers, went to the ‘Big Mouth’ team. The best acting award in the mini-series category went to Im Yoon-ah and Yook Sung-jae. Next, the Excellence Award for Daily & One-act Drama was Choi Soo-young of ‘Send a Fan Letter’ and Seo Ha-jun of ‘Secret House’, and the mini-series category was Lee Hye-ri of ‘One Dang 100 Butlers’, Park Joo-hyun and Kim Young-dae of ‘Golden Marriage, Joseon Marriage Ban’. was named as the winner.
