On the 23rd in Kirishima City, there was a fire that completely destroyed a room in a closed hotel.
According to the police, at around 6 p.m. on the 23rd, a person nearby called 119 in Kirishima Taguchi, Kirishima City, complaining that they could see flames and smoke coming from the building.
The fire was extinguished after about two and a half hours, but it completely destroyed an area of approximately 72 square meters on the 13th floor of the 14-story hotel Romanesque Resort Kirishima.
The hotel is currently closed, there are no full-time employees, and no one was injured.
The police and fire department are planning to conduct a live inspection from the 24th onward to determine the cause of the fire.
