MC Solaar back on stage!

Claude Honoré M’Barali was born on March 5, 1969 in Dakar, Senegal, to a translator father and a nurse mother. His parents are from Chad. In 1990 he emerged with the incredible _“Get out of here” !_MC Solaar is one of the artists who are part of the heritage of French rap.

Even following many years of absence, the success of MC Solaar has never run out of steamstinging the hearts of the French like that of Caroline in her tube “Caroline”. He has always been discreet in the media, shis texts and melodies have remained in each generation that his music has passed through. During his return with “Géopoétique” in 2017, he obtained a platinum disc at a time when streaming took precedence over the sale of records! MC Solaar quickly stood out, from the start of his career and still today, in particular through his particularly sought-following texts, with rich rhymes and a very varied vocabulary.

Very often in rap, it’s an MC and a DJ. This time, MC Solaar is accompanied by a real American big band.
Claude MC Solaar revives his hits (Caroline, Victim of fashion, Solaar cries, the new western, the hemoglobin concubine…) on stage with violins, brass, guitars and a rhythm section.
A real jazz band to be found on tour all summer until the Philharmonie in October with the project entitled “new big band project”.

You can find him on July 24 at the Festival Live at Campo in Perpignan, on July 29 at the Festival Grandes Marées in Jullouville, on August 12 at the Festival Insolent in Landerneau, on September 11 at Foire en Scène in Châlons-en-Champagne, and on October 25 and 26 at the Philharmonie in Paris.
