Two Outaouais residents were infected with measles following returning from a trip to Europe, a disease that can be transmitted up to four days following its onset.

The two people were thus contagious when they took a flight from Brussels to Montreal, Ottawa Public Health confirmed to the “Ottawa Citizen” on Saturday.
