On the followingnoon of this Thursday, August 18, an incident was registered in the facilities of the renowned children’s amusement park “Chicolandia”, located in the west of the city of Barquisimeto.

According to versions of witnesses and those involved in the event, as well as Civil Protection authorities, it was learned that at approximately 4 in the followingnoon this Thursday, one of the mechanical attractions, specifically the “roller coaster” of the enclosure, suffered a malfunction. , causing the detachment of one of the “trolleys”, which left several people injured.
At the time of publication of this news, Civil Protection authorities, firefighters and CICPC officials were at the scene of the events to help the victims and learn more regarding the causes that might lead to the tragic incident.
