Medhat Shalaby to On Sport: The Football Association and Jalal must leave and leave the responsibility to those who can afford it

The media, Medhat Shalaby, demanded the Egyptian Football Association headed by Gamal Allam, and Ihab Galal, the coach of the national team and his assistant staff, to resign from their positions, after the defeat by Ethiopia in the qualifying rounds for the African Nations, which he described as a “sport scandal”.

Addressing his message to the Football Association and Ihab Jalal, Shalaby said in televised statements to the Evening On program on the On Time Sports channel: “Leave and leave the responsibility he was unable to, the resounding fall in front of Ethiopia is an unforgivable scandal. We want officials who appreciate the mission and respect the feelings of the masses.”

Shalaby criticized Ihab Jalal’s statements at the press conference, calling on the coach to leave the team immediately out of respect for the fans and himself before he had to make this decision.

Egypt lost 2-0 to Ethiopia in the match that took place between the two teams today at Bingo Stadium in Malawi, as part of the second round of the African qualifiers for the African Nations 2023 in Cote d’Ivoire.

With this result, Egypt’s balance froze at 3 points, while Ethiopia raised its score to 3 points, after achieving its first victory in the group.
