Media diary: doldrums in the ORF program: a summer full of repetitions

Since the decision of the Constitutional Court, the ORF program has been scanned even more closely by the public and the media. According to an evaluation of the free newspaper “Today”, the “viewers were put to sleep on ORF 1 and 2 with almost 34.5 hours of repetitions on a Tuesday in July alone”. Tabloid competitor “oe24” raged: “The constant repetitions, especially now in the summer, almost border on kidding for the viewers: Why do you have to pay fees for it? Current events are scarce, especially in ORF 1. Unless it’s regarding information or sport .”
