Towards the future following complete renovation: Experience a new shopping experience, more service and the great reopening party on April 11, 2024.

The modern look of the store design, the bright and friendly atmosphere as well as the optimized product presentation suggest: There is a fresh “spring wind” blowing in the completely rebuilt MediaMarkt in Jena.

“The renovation period was really exciting. I would like to say thank you to my employees, who all pulled together during this stressful phase and also went beyond their limits. Our reward for our effort is a state-of-the-art market in which we can now work,” says managing director Danny Werowski, who is already looking forward to the reopening on April 11th. “Not only do we offer a great shopping experience, but of course it’s a celebration.”

More choice, more service, more expertise

There are a lot of new things to discover in the departments – for example in the toy area and the new photo world. In the gaming zone, fully equipped gaming stations with screens, controllers and VR glasses attract visitors. More space, more selection, more service and more expertise now also characterize the area of fitted kitchens and large household appliances. The highlight is the new coffee world with barista bar. While you find out regarding the variety of fully automatic coffee machines, capsule machines and accessories, you can have freshly prepared coffee specialties served and enjoy.

The motto “Look, touch, try out” innovative products runs through the entire market. The demonstration options for current technology highlights have been optimized, and expert advice is always available in the tried and tested manner. The service now also includes the Smartbar for the immediate repair of smartphones without registration, as well as the Ready-to-Start service for the quick setup of newly purchased products such as smartphones, PCs, notebooks or games consoles.
