Daniil Medvedev has won the Tennis Masters tournament in Miami. The 27-year-old Russian beat Jannik Sinner 7:5,6:3 in the final on Sunday. Medvedev won his sixth duel with the South Tyrolean. The former world number one had reached the final by beating his compatriot Karen Khachanov, whom he defeated 7:6(5),3:6,6:3. In the semifinals, Sinner surprisingly defeated world number one Carlos Alcaraz 6:7(4),6:4,6:2.
