Meena is back to Malayalam. Meena is playing the lead role in the movie Anandapuram Diaries which is written and directed by Jaya Jose Raj. She was away from acting following the sudden death of her husband Vidyasagar. It is special that Meena is returning to the acting scene following 15 months through Malayalam. Her last movie in Malayalam is Bro Dad. On June 28, 2022, Meena’s husband Vidyasagar passed away due to lung disease. Meena died due to illness. Then Meena was comforted by a group of friends. Friends wanted to bring her back to the acting field. Meena joined the location of Anandapuram Diaries, which started filming in Kalpetta. Srikanth, Manoj K.
