Burneo: The issue is not to be a member of the OECD, but to replicate its good practices
The Minister of Economy, Kurt Burneo, spoke about Peru’s intention to be part of the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD).
“The issue is not being a member of the OECD, in my opinion. The issue is to replicate the good public governance practices that are evidenced through the policies developed by the OECD member countries. In other words, the very fact of replicating these practices means that the management of economic activity and, in particular, the management of the country with efficiency, responds to replicating these good practices of public governance,” he said at a press conference.
