On Tuesday from 3:20 p.m. there was a large-scale power failure in several districts of Vienna. Wiener Netze is currently working on rectifying the faults.
A power outage has been reported in parts of the Alsergrund, Währing and Döbling districts of Vienna since 3:20 p.m. Since around 4.10 p.m. there have also been power outages in parts of Vienna-Hernals and since 4.45 p.m. also in Vienna-Penzing and Weidlingbach.
Mega power failure in several districts of Vienna
Failures are also to be expected in the neighboring areas. Wiener Netzte employees are already working to remedy the supply disruption. Most faults are resolved in around 90 minutes.
