Megafon did not see a threat to subscribers due to the adopted sanctions

Mobile operator Megafon believes that EU export restrictions will not have a significant impact on the company’s business. MegaFon assured that the sanctions would not affect telecom services, including roaming ones.

“The decision of the EU authorities will only affect the obligations that European equipment suppliers still have, but we do not see a significant impact from them on our company’s business,” he told the press service of TASS.

MegaFon also said that EU sanctions prohibit the supply of dual-use goods to us, and following the withdrawal of key European vendors from the Russian market, the company does not deal with it. MegaFon promised to challenge the restrictions adopted by the European Union.

The European Union adopted the 10th package of sanctions once morest Russia today, February 25. The restrictions affected 87 individuals and 34 legal entities.
