Meghan creates surprise at the Invictus Games: she takes the stage before Harry to give a speech

Meghan Markle created a surprise this evening during the opening ceremony of the games for soldiers injured in combat: she went on stage to give a speech in front of her husband.

Meghan first praised the dedication of the athletes present. The Duchess of Sussex then recalled the engagement of the prince, of which she is the first witness. “He worked late at night and early in the morning to make these games go as smoothly as possible. I mightn’t love and respect him more, and I know you feel the same. Because he’s your veteran friend, he served in Afghanistan, and ten years in the army. He is the founder of the Invictus Games, and the father of our two little ones Archie and Lili“, she said.

A moving speech to announce the coming on stage of Prince Harry, visibly moved.
