Netflix announced the cancellation of the animated series “Pearl”, produced by Meghan Markle, the Duchess of Sussex, in a move aimed at rationalizing costs.

Despite this, Netflix confirmed that it will continue to work on other projects in cooperation with Archwell Productions, including a documentary series called “The Heart of the Invincibles.”

Archwell Productions did not respond to a request from the BBC for comment.
Netflix also announced that it has decided not to continue working on two children’s animated series titles, “Dino Decker” and “Blessings and Curses.”
The company had announced last April that the total number of subscribers to its platform decreased by regarding 200,000 during the first three months of this year, which is much less than the target set.
Netflix also warned that regarding two million more users may abandon its services, most likely, in the three months to July.
