Memorable Christmas Moments Shared on América Hoy's Special Program

América Hoy had its special Christmas program this Friday, December 22. Ethel Pozo, Janet Barboza, Edson Dávila and Christian Domínguez received Milena Zárate and Mariella Zanetti to talk about the most significant Christmas of their lives.

At one point, Gisela Valcárcel’s daughter could not help but burst into tears when revealing which December 24 was the most difficult for her and her family.

“They are all beautiful but I have had… my aunt was already very sick with cancer, it was very difficult, we knew it could be the last but we traveled there to see her,” commented Ethel Pozo.

Finally, she thanked God for having her loved ones with her. “It’s the most important thing. The turkey salad, the gifts, are unnecessary, the important thing is to be together, as a family,” concluded the América Hoy host.

MARIELLA ZANETTI BURST INTO CRY BEFORE CHRISTMAS

Mariella Zanetti was a guest this Friday on América Hoy to talk about the most memorable Christmas of her life. The ex-vedette recalled that the most significant one is the last one she spent with her grandfather.

“The last Christmas I spent with my grandfather is one of the Christmases that I always remember because my grandfather died on November 15, very close to the holidays and it was one of the losses that hurt me the most,” said the comic actress.

However, the most critical moment came when Janet Barboza commented that some families are separated because their members emigrated to another country. “Oh Mariella, don’t start crying, your baby isn’t spending Christmas with you this year, why,” the ‘rulitos’ asked her.

“Oh yes, it’s the first Christmas I’m going to spend away from her. She is already shocking me because every day we talk I ask her how she will spend Christmas and she tells me ‘here in my apartment, alone,’” Zanetti said through tears.
