Men arrested for illegal fishing in Planaltina

Those involved informed that they did not have any license or authorization that would allow them to transport the material

The Military Police of the Federal District (PMDF) arrested 11 men for the crime of illegal fishing, this Sunday (26), on BR-020, in Planaltina.

The team of military police from the Environmental Police, through the Cerrado Operations Group (GOC), seized illegal fish along with fishing gear used in predatory fishing.

In all, 114 fish were caught, including: 28 Bagres; 18 Curimatás; 18 Piranhas; eight Piaus; eight Pacus; six peacock bass; five Pleasant; four Jurupensens; four Curvinas; three Mandubés; three Painted; two Acarás; two Cacharas; a Traíra; a female dog; a Bicudo; a Golden; a Tarrafa and 21 Rods.

The men were taken to the 16th DP.
