For the men’s relay, qui opens the American stage of the World Cup at Soldier Hollow this Friday evening (8:25 p.m.), the French staff decided to modify the usual quartet this season and bronze medalist at the World Championships in Nove Mesto. Quentin Fillon Maillet, 3rd in the mas-start at the Worlds, is left to rest and is replaced by Antonin Guigonnat, lined up for the first time this season. The Morzinois, absent in Nove Mesto and returned to form last week in Oslo (11th in the individual, 16th in the mass start), will be the last French torchbearer.
