The Congolese international footballer, Chancel Mbemba Mangulu, could settle down at Lazio Rome, a club playing in the Italian Serie A, as part of the summer transfer window.
According to the Italian media “La Gazzetta”, Igor Tudor, former coach of OM -Olympique de Marseille-, wants at all costs to strengthen his defensive line with Chancel Mbemba, for the next season. The native of Kinshasa will certainly help Lazio return to the Champions League, after being eliminated by Bayern Munich in the round of 16.
Currently 9th in Serie A, Lazio Rome finished 2nd in the Italian championship last season, just after Naples. The Roman club has already won the Scudetto twice, in 1974 and 2000 respectively.
Arriving at Marseille in the summer of 2022, from FC Porto, Chancel Mbemba scored 12 goals and provided 3 assists, in 77 matches played under the colors of OM.
