Zurich (awp) – The Italian competition authority Consob is suspending its review of the prospectus for Dufry’s takeover bid (OPA) for Autogrill, pending receipt of “additional information”, relayed on Monday the operator of transalpine roadhouses. The additional period for the issuance of the green light must not exceed 15 days, assures the group in its note.
A spokesperson told AWP that the information in question was the 2022 annual reports of the two contenders for the merger, which are due to be published once more this week.
The schedule for the operation remains unchanged, with completion expected before the end of June.
