This Tuesday, November 12, it became known about the collapse of Local 004, a road that connects the Andrés Bello and Campo Elías municipalities, in the state of Mérida, specifically at the height of the San Eusebio Village, as a consequence of the rains that have fallen on the area.

María Elena Villasmil, mayor of Andrés Bello, reported that a culvert of about 13 meters fell, dragging with it at least two thirds of the road, leaving the southern area of ​​the municipality incommunicado, affecting the passability of the large number of agricultural producers and inhabitants. of the area.

Rescue groups, Civil Protection, police officials together with municipal authorities reported on the situation, requesting help from regional and national authorities, since due to the magnitude of the damage it is beyond municipal possibilities.

For his part, the governor of Mérida Jehyson Guzmán ordered the evaluation of the damage to resolve the situation in the shortest time possible.
