Meta has suffered a setback in the dispute over the release of information in the context of EU investigations. The Court of Justice of the European Union on Wednesday rejected an objection by the Facebook parent to the data requests from the competition authorities. Meta might not demonstrate that the documents went beyond what was necessary. The same applies to the question of why personal information cannot be adequately protected in a virtual data room.
