Despite a string of cuts and thousands of jobs shaky around the world, Facebook parent company Meta is sticking to its plans for the future. In the course of an internal employee presentation, it transpired that Meta already has a roadmap for augmented and virtual reality hardware that extends to 2027. At the end of this plan there is a headset that is intended to replace conventional smartphones.
