Vienna – On Monday at eleven o’clock, the GPA and PRO-GE unions will hand over their wage and salary demands for the coming year to the employers in the metal technology industry. The basis for negotiations for the start of the autumn wage round is inflation of 9.6 percent over the past twelve months. At the beginning of September, the government announced a 9.7 percent increase for pensioners.
