Meteorology announces hot weather for the next few days

Asunción, IP Agency.- This Thursday’s dawn is warm nationwide, and it is forecast to become hot during the afternoon. As for rain, scattered rains are expected today, with occasional thunderstorms, especially in the center, south and east of the Eastern region.

For this Thursday, maximum temperatures would be between 31 and 36°C for both the Eastern and Western regions. In addition, a decrease in cloud cover and predominant northeasterly winds is expected, especially for the center and north of the country.

Starting today, a mass of warm air will settle over the country, which will create a hot environment nationwide. That is why, between Friday and Saturday the 27th, minimum temperatures are projected to be close to 24°C, while maximum temperatures will range between 33 and 38°C.

For Friday the 26th, no rain is forecast throughout the national territory.

Only on Saturday the 28th, the probabilities will increase for the south of the country.

Rains with storms in the south

The Meteorological Directorate issued a weather warning announcing rain with moderate to strong thunderstorms, with also moderate to strong gusts of wind in the south west of the Eastern Region.

The coverage area is the southwest of the Eastern Region and affects the department of Ñeembucú, forecast Meteorology.

Storm cores are beginning to develop over the coverage area, so the probability of severe weather phenomena being generated punctually during this morning is high, according to Meteorology forecasts.

For the following days they estimate an increase in cloudiness, with little probability of rain and it is expected that temperatures will not suffer significant changes.
