A member of the Media Center of the General Authority of Meteorology indicated, in exclusive statements for the seventh day, that the country is affected by an air depression in the upper layers of the atmosphere, which works to multiply low and medium clouds, which in turn block the sun’s rays and help to feel the temperature drop.
She explained that the country is witnessing pleasant weather during the day in Greater Cairo, Lower Egypt, the northwestern coasts and northern Upper Egypt, moderate heat on the northeastern coasts, hot in southern Sinai and southern Upper Egypt, and cold at night in all parts.
Regarding the chances of rain, she indicated that the country is witnessing chances of light rain at night in Greater Cairo with an incidence of 20%, chances of light rain on the northwestern coasts with an incidence of 30%, and chances of light rain that are moderate in southern Sinai and the Red Sea mountain ranges with an incidence of 40%, And light rain in the north and south of Upper Egypt, with an incidence of 30%.
She pointed out that the chances of rain will continue for tomorrow, Tuesday, to be light to moderate and thunderstorms at times on the Red Sea and the Red Sea mountain ranges, but it will be light on the northern coasts and north of Lower Egypt and will not be affected.
And she explained that with tomorrow, Tuesday, a slight rise in temperatures with moderation in wind speeds and navigation, pointing out that it is expected that with Wednesday the rain will fade, weather conditions will stabilize, and the shaboura will reappear.
As for the temperatures, today, Monday: Cairo, high 22 degrees and low 15 degrees, Alexandria high 22 and low 15 degrees, Matrouh high 22 degrees and low 14 degrees, Sohag high 24 degrees and low 13 degrees, Qena high 25 degrees and low 14 degrees, Aswan high 28 degrees. And the lowest is 15 degrees.
