Meteorology reveals developments in the weather in the country

The National Center of Meteorology expected the continuation of rain of varying intensity as a result of the formation of convective clouds over the eastern and western regions until this evening, with a gradual rise in temperature.

The meteorologist said that the UAE is still under the influence of the depression, but it is less severe than yesterday, and the depression moved to the west of the country, with convective clouds accompanied by heavy rain.

The National Center issued about 70 warnings and alerts in Arabic and English, in addition to 20 warnings to the concerned authorities in the country regarding the case.

The country is witnessing a state of atmospheric instability that continues until today, Thursday, as a result of the presence of an upper and shallow air depression extending from northern India and southern Pakistan, working on the flow of different formations of clouds from the Sea of ​​Oman towards the country, interspersed with cumulus rain clouds accompanied by lightning and thunder sometimes over separate areas of the country. country.

Yesterday, most regions of the UAE witnessed heavy and medium rains, which led to the flow of valleys and the accumulation of water in the low-lying areas of Umm Al Quwain, Sharjah, Ras Al Khaimah, Ajman and Fujairah.

The National Weather Service:

– The country is still under the influence of the depression, but it is less severe than yesterday and moved to the west of the country, with convective clouds accompanied by heavy rain.
