Metro to Install Taller Fare Gates at Select Stations

Metro is set to amplify its approach to fare evasion, announcing the installation of new, taller fare gates at stations throughout the system.

Starting in 2025, passengers will encounter the taller gates in new stations, including the LAX/Metro Transit Center Station (C and K Lines), the A Line (former Foothill Gold Line) extension to Pomona as part of a number of changes. Won’t be happening right away.
