In Meudon, the Olympic spirit is more present than ever. The city recently hosted the Olympic and Paralympic Tour of Hauts-de-Seine. A TOP 92 which, for a week, brought sport and Olympic values to life among the city’s children.
400 to 500 children affected
“The objective was to be able to offer children hosted in leisure centers a week really focused on sport. Because they don’t necessarily have the opportunity to play sports on a regular basis”underlines Delphine Pasquier, head of the events and sports activities department of the City of Meudon. « It is sometimes easier to offer them artistic activities compared to sporting activities. The particularity of this week is that we supervised children from kindergarten to CM2. This represents around 400 to 500 children who visited during the week and to whom we offered and introduced physical activities around Olympic and Paralympic sport. »
