Mexican boxer Canelo Alvarez issued a stern threat to Argentine star Lionel Messi today, Monday, because of the latter’s celebrations in the locker rooms after the victory over Mexico.
AndArgentina achieved an important victory over Mexico With two goals for free last Saturday. It appears that one of the Mexican players exchanged his shirt with Messi after the end of the match.
And the cameras in the dressing room of the “Tango” team monitored Lionel Messi kicking the “Mexico” shirt on the ground during the celebrations.
Messi received criticism from the Mexican fans. One of the most prominent critics was the Mexican professional boxer Canelo Alvarez, who won the World Boxing Association championship, the World Boxing Council championship and the World Boxing Organization championship.
Canelo tweeted on his Twitter account, addressing Lionel Messi: “I saw him cleaning the floor with a Mexico shirt. He should pray to God not to meet him!”
Argentine journalist Andres Usain responded to the Mexican boxer by saying: “Canelo, you know very well that it happened inadvertently. I do not rule out that Messi will apologize for the shot.”
Argentina and Poland will meet next Wednesday, in the third and final round of the group stage in the Qatar 2022 World Cup.
