Albuquerque: Mexican gray wolf f2754 recrosses natural boundary. A gray wolf found in the mountains of Taus near New Mexico last winter has been recaptured and released into the wilds of Arizona. They belong to the subspecies of the gray wolf and are critically endangered.

A female wolf, f2754, is currently on her way to the Hemis Springs mountain range. Wildlife workers are monitoring the movement of the wolf. The authorities responded that they will take a decision on whether to catch them and send them to the forest after considering the travel route.

Mexican gray wolves are willing to travel across natural boundaries. The natural border includes areas like New Mexico and Arizona. Experts at Defenders of Wildlife say the female wolf may be traveling in search of a mate.

It is also reported that many pets are killed annually by gray wolves in New Mexico and Arizona. Therefore, their arrival in another land area is a cause for concern. Earlier this year, the U.S. A survey conducted by the Fish and Wildlife Service found 241 gray wolves in the American Southwest.
