MEXICO CITY (AP) — After parting ways with Mexico’s Pachuca, midfielder Luis Chávez was announced Friday as a new player for Dinamo Moscow.

The Russian club made the announcement official on its social networks, but did not provide further details regarding the duration of the agreement or the financial terms.

Chávez, 27, made his debut with Tijuana in 2014 and was a Tuzos player from 2019 to the Clausura 2023.

Chávez participated in his first World Cup in Qatar 2022 and was part of the team that won the last edition of the Gold Cup.

The midfielder also won a league championship with Pachuca in the Apertura 2022.

The player had been looking for his exit to Russian football for several weeks and he himself had to pay his exit clause with Pachuca to close the transfer.
