The popular Mexican singers José (Pepe) Aguilar and his daughter, Angela Aguilar, today enjoy the warmth of the Cuban capital, where they traveled for the first time and have been seen sharing moments in iconic places.

From their accounts on the Instagram social network, both artists recount their day-to-day life since they arrived in Havana this week, a city that has captivated them judging by their comments on their social networks, where they uploaded photographs in the heart of Havana Vieja and other emblematic spaces such as the Hotel Nacional de Cuba and the Tropicana cabaret.

Angela, known for topics such as Mexican in love, was smitten by the Cuban capital and this is reflected in her messages, in which she is even seen in various snapshots with the Havana Capitol in the background, which she documented with one of the most symbolic poems of the National Hero of Cuba, José Martí.

While she was even encouraged to go on stage at Tropicana, according to what the Cuban actor and entertainer Raúl Lora reported on his Facebook account, Pepe Aguilar also demonstrated his charm for the Caribbean island with several images, he is even seen singing animatedly with his family in a restaurant the classic María Cristina, by Ñico Saquito.

The winner of nine Grammys, four of them in their Anglo-Saxon version, announced his arrival in Cuba with an image from one of the most beautiful beaches on the island (Varadero), and a message that hints that projects may be on the way: Someone knows where I am, he said and added: what I’m doing I can’t tell you yet, while he used various labels to refer to the subject, including music, universal language and brotherhood.

“Cuba, its music and its people,” Aguilar headlined another message while uploading photos from the Havana boardwalk, paraphrasing the song Hasta que se seca el boardwalk, by reggaeton singer Jacob Forever.

Since they landed in Havana, father and daughter have not stopped for a second and have been seen enjoying these February days.

While receiving the warmth of the Cubans, some wonder if there will be collaborations on the way with artists from the island after the comment that the musician slipped to a friend on Instagram: We are here working. A project that you will love. You’ll see, he advanced.
