Mexico needs El Salvador’s security model 2024-03-01 07:33:12

Mexico’s presidential candidate, Eduardo Verástegui, stressed that his country needs to replicate the security model of El Salvador carried out by the Government of President Nayib Bukele, and that peace has returned to the nation like no one had done before.

«Change is possible and no one has demonstrated it better than him (Nayib Bukele). Security has returned to his country, and it translates into well-being for all citizens. The security model that El Salvador represents today is the model we need in Mexico,” said Verástegui.

He stated that Mexico needs “consistency and a firm hand to end the violence unleashed in the streets,” which leaves hundreds of innocent people murdered, just as happened in the past in El Salvador.
