MFS Africa acquires US company Global Technology Partners

MFS Africa, the largest pan-African digital payments platform, announced on Tuesday June 7 that it had reached an agreement to buy the American company Global Technology Partners (GTP). This transaction marks the first acquisition of an American technology company by an African technology company. Following the acquisition of GTP, MFS Africa plans to further invest in GTP’s current card programs with banks and bring in all the innovations and possibilities offered by the MFS Africa HUB – including seamless interoperability with Mobile Money. The company will also leverage the GTP stack to accelerate
