You recently installed optional updates in Windows 11, and you are having problems with some of your applications? You might have installed a buggy optional update.
Microsoft has just indicated that the cumulative update KB5012643, offered to users under Windows 11 21H2, and deployed on April 25, was the victim of a nasty bug causing the crash of certain applications using the .NET 3.5 framework, a set of software components that many developers rely on to create their software.
However, only applications using certain components such as Windows Communication Foundation (WCF) and Windows Workflow (WWF) would be affected by these crash issues.

If you noticed that some of your apps stopped working following applying this update, you can uninstall it manually to get everything back to normal. To do this, open Windows Settings using the shortcut Windows + ithen go to the section Windows Update.
Then enter theUpdate historygo down the page and click on Uninstall updates. Then look for the stamped update KB5012643right click on it and choose to Uninstall.
