The moment so feared by all has arrived: the increase in Xbox Game Pass monthly fees. Microsoft announced this week a readjustment in the price of the service for several locations, including Brazil.
In mid-May, rumors emerged that the Xbox Game Pass would suffer a price adjustment, with the increase being able to reach up to R$ 15, but the Redmond giant decided to be more merciful with one of its main markets.
Through the official table disclosed by the company, we discovered that the monthly Xbox Game Pass Ultimate went from R$ 44.99 to BRL 49.99 (BRL 5 increase)while the monthly fee Game Pass para console went from R$ 29.99 to BRL 32.99 (BRL 3 increase).
The Game Pass for PC subscription price remains unchanged at BRL 29.99.
The changes are effective from July 6th, and subscribers will receive an email communication about the change in value for the next renewal of the service.
In the international market, in addition to raising Game Pass prices, the company also raised the price of the Xbox Series X. From August 1st, the most powerful console will cost £479.99 in the UK, €549.99 in most European markets , $649.99 in Canada and $799.99 in Australia.
