Microsoft and UM6P will jointly implement a new general coding course which will draw on the pedagogical expertise of 1337 and that of Microsoft in order to reach an even wider audience of learners both in Morocco and in other African countries.
Startups and SMEs also targeted by this program
This collaboration will provide startups incubated within UM6P, at “StartGate”, with tools and engines that will allow them to access technology, markets and investors even more easily, while emphasizing the startups that have a social impact, as well as on startups founded by women.
By taking advantage of existing projects on the market, UM6P will work to identify small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) that wish to be supported in their digitization initiatives, while Microsoft will provide SMEs registered with UM6P with new technological skills. , while connecting them to Independent Software Vendors (ISVs) globally.
This collaboration will also explore the application and potential implementation of the technology Airband developed by Microsoft in the fields of health, agriculture, mining and others.
Microsoft partners with Atlas Cloud Services
Microsoft is also announcing a partnership with Atlas Cloud Services, a subsidiary of UM6P, to enable Moroccan customers to benefit from services related to Microsoft Hybrid Cloud offers.
