It would replace the Xbox Series X in its line-up.
According to a new rumor, Microsoft is currently working on the design of a new Xbox Series, which would position itself as the replacement for the Series X, its top model equipped with a disc drive.
This new machine would not only be more energy efficient than the old model, but also thinner and significantly more powerful.
Microsoft had already hinted in the past: it will not hesitate to offer new variants of its consoles at a faster pace than before. The shortage of electronic components also tends to validate this approach: with more models on the market and more configurations, Microsoft will theoretically be able to offer more machines to consumers and thus exceed Sony’s sales figures.
However, we should not expect a big revolution in this machine, which would mainly be a redesign of the old model, with a refined design. A bit like Microsoft had already done in the past with its Xbox One S.
