Recently, Xbox boss Phil Spencer traveled to Blizzard’s headquarters in Irvine, California, to address employees following Microsoft’s acquisition of Activision Blizzard. Studio bosses Matt Booty and Sarah Bond also showed up, filling out the rest of the Xbox leadership team. According to Windows Central, during the meeting, Spencer issued a brief statement to employees, saying: “Microsoft is working hard to be a source of trust for Blizzard and wants to enable Blizzard to realize its vision and dreams. In addition, it was reported that , Blizzard has been called the “Pixar of gaming.” Interestingly, Activision doesn’t seem to have much of a presence, aside from a few images of the logo posted online by Lulu Cheng Meservey, Activision’s executive vice president of corporate affairs. What do you think of Blizzard? Is it the Pixar of gaming?
